Getting Ready for Construction

Over Labor Day weekend, Hope College students helped start the process of preparing for construction at Nuestra Casa, our neighborhood center as part of their Time to Serve program. Time to Serve is designed to give new students the opportunity to learn about service while helping and getting to know their community and becoming better acquainted with one another. The Holland Sentinel captured the event in their own slide show.

And we have some photos of our own.

We’re grateful for this team of 10 Hope students that came out and accomplished so much in one day! Appreciation also goes to Nancy Honor, Jim Feltman, Raul Garcia, Jon Myers, and Lois Maassen for their help!
