Primping for Tulip Time

photo (1)_TT1It’s Tulip Time! Hollanders are proud of our clean city so sprucing up Nuestra Casa to make a good impression for our guests is important, especially since the neighborhood center is just off Tulip Lane.

Thanks to a crew from Forest Grove Reformed Church (some whom have helped out at Nuestra Casa before), the yard has been cleaned up and some insulation batting has been installed. Loads of scrap were hauled away and we can finally see the green grass that is growing(!) now that spring is here.

This is how Holland residents help create pride of place, and show it off to visitors who come to our city for Tulip Time. Even the tulips planted along the front walk by volunteers on a fall work day are in bloom.

Welcome to Tulip Time!
